About a month ago I posted about the second season of Sengoku Basara out as of July 11th. Well its been possible to watch it online through a third party anime website unfortunately, I felt there was a lack of quality fansubs for this series in particular. Who ever was subbing the series has really done a weak and lose translation of the series thus far. That is why I am happy to discover that FUNimation has continued their support of the series by hosting their 30-minute full episodes on YouTube. This is a great thing to see when a company is willing to stream their popular products but also provide viewers with quality subtitles.
Not just Sengoku Basara, but full episodes of other popular series such as, Evangelion, Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist and Darker than Black are all avaliable on the official YouTube Channel. The only catch is that you do have to endure a short 30 second to 1 minute ad before the start of the episode. Otherwise, the videos are all full length no need to be watching in parts. Most of the FUNimation Shows licensed shows are available here on that YouTube Channel if not all, there is a lot.
Even with the news that FUNimation maybe to be sold, I personally hope it is the intention of FUNimation to continue to provide viewers with this online alternative for their products. Further providing a legitimate means to watch anime streamed for free.
Just a note they disabled embedding for all their full episodes (probably for their best interests-I guess) so you won't, and I won't be able to show you the episodes here. Nevertheless, here's a clip of the anime's Opening Theme sung by T.M Revolution called Sword Summit.
